It's commonly believed that the end product of a hairdresser's work is a haircut.
But in the era of the parallel digital universe growing up rapidly, we take the place of avant-garde digital hairdressers, first to enter the virtual territory of our profession.
The mission of our project is to create a digital hairdressing museum, where finely selected works of more than a hundred avant-garde artists will be brought to life again in a real space of the contemporary art gallery. Here you will be able to see rare collections, illustrations, video, installations and performances, which will take you to the parallel world of digital fashion.
Hair is a metaphor of a human' existence and its rapidity: yesterday is not the same as tomorrow. Human becomes hair, and then the hair disappears. But what if it leaves more prominent imprint than a whole human’s life? If one eats a stranger’s hair, does it make one an anthropophagite? Does your haircut make an impact on the world around you?
Parallel digital universe of hairdressing art makes more impact than real-life hair. Insta-filters and digital apparel have already been replacing true personal images, digital haircuts and robotic hairdressers are yet to come.

We use upcycled electronics to expose all these works, because we think that our planet deserves better care and if technic works - it should work. If someone doesn't want it at home - we love to use it for art.
Also we think that in the era of Fast Content where the creative works don't live long, real artistic things should live. That is why we used only old works and redesigned it for this art show. We didn't film anything especially for this exhibition - we revived the hairstyles of the past.
